Took a hike out to Keane Springs to check out the area. I was very suprised to see
how many people have been hiking out here. This camp formed around 1904 and
was abandoned completely after a flash flood took out the place in 1909. In the
1930's a tank was installed and water was pumped down to the Big Bell Mine by
the Coen Company. The tank still stands next to the road to Chloride Cliff today.
